Configuration
ACARM-ng is highly configurable. You can set not only the environment-specific variables as database IP address or e-mail address of the system administrator but you can also alter the way it works. Virtually every component has its own section in a configure file which can alter the default behaviour.
Configuration of the ACARM-ng consists of two parts:
- static - All the parameters set in the configuration file. They are usually essential for ACARM-ng to run and remain unchanged during the run.
- runtime - This is a set of parameters that can be altered both manually or automatically. They can be considered as tuning parameters and can be changed in runtime and take an immediate effect. They are stored in the database.
