Triggers

Triggers are modules responsible for taking predefined actions for input or correlated alerts. Standard actions include: sending notifications on GaduGadu, Jabber or mail, writing alerts to files and last but not least invoking user scripts. Thanks to this extensible mechanism user can write his own rules for dealing with attacks such as automatically changing firewall rules or turning off ports on switches.
